DAY 1- SAIGON ARRIVAL
Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, where our guide will greet you and assist you with your hotel check-in. In the afternoon, embark on a half-day city tour, starting with the Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica, a neo-Roman cathedral constructed over 130 years ago by the French using materials imported entirely from Marseilles. Next, visit the Saigon Central Post Office, an exquisite colonial building designed by the renowned French architect Gustave Eiffel in the early 20th century. Finally, head to Cho Lon, the city's Chinatown, to explore the Jade Emperor Temple (Phuoc Hai), a unique Taoist temple built in 1909 in honor of the Lord of Heaven.
DAY 2- SAIGON FULL-DAY CU CHI TUNNEL AND CITY TOUR
After breakfast, visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, located 75 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City. This extensive underground network served as a key hideout for the Viet Cong during the wars against the French and Americans, featuring interconnected passageways with meeting rooms, kitchens, and emergency exits. Afterward, return to the city for some leisure time. In the afternoon, explore the War Remnants Museum, which displays exhibits on Vietnam’s conflicts with the French and Americans. Then, visit Ben Thanh Market, a bustling hub in District 1, where you can browse a variety of goods before your tour concludes with a return to your hotel or another central location.
DAY 3- SAIGON – FULL DAY MY THO (MEKONG DELTA)
After breakfast, set off by road to the Mekong Delta, known as the world's largest delta and Vietnam's key rice-producing region. Upon arriving in My Tho City, the capital of Tien Giang Province, board a boat to explore the intricate canals, gaining a close-up view of local daily life amidst picturesque waterways and lush islands. Visit Unicorn Island to stroll through vibrant orchards, sample fresh fruits, and enjoy some traditional Southern music. Next, head to Ben Tre, where you'll witness local villagers crafting coconut candy in a rural workshop. Take a short walk and experience a ride in a horse-drawn carriage. Continue your journey with visits to beekeeping households to sample fresh honey and honey tea. In the afternoon, drive to Can Tho, where you can check in and enjoy some leisure time.
DAY 4- HALF DAY CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – SAIGON
After breakfast, depart from Ninh Kieu Wharf by shuttle boat, where you’ll witness the vibrant activities along the banks of the Can Tho River. You’ll see local fishermen using numerous traps and learn how people transport goods and passengers via the waterways. As you approach the Cai Rang floating market, you'll get a glimpse of traditional selling methods, such as the use of “offering poles” to exchange consumer goods for fresh Mekong fruits and vegetables with local vendors. To gain a deeper understanding of the local lifestyle, continue into the small creeks known as Rach Nho, where the charm of the Southern countryside unfolds. After this exploration, you’ll cruise back to Ninh Kieu Wharf. Following your return, our guide and driver will take you back to Ho Chi Minh City. The rest of the day is free to relax and explore at your leisure.
DAY 5- SAIGON DEPARTURE
After breakfast, you will have the entire day free to unwind and explore at your own pace, allowing you to soak in the local atmosphere one last time before your departure. After that, our guide will ensure a smooth transition by arranging your transfer to the airport.
