MAGNIFICENT 06 NIGHTS FRANCE WITH SWITZERLAND

Day By Day Itinerary

DAY 1 – ARRIVAL 

Arrive at Paris International Airport and meet with our representative and transfers to the hotel. Check-in and rest of the day ahead is free for rest or at your own leisure activities. Overnight stay in Paris. 

DAY 2 – PARIS CITY TOUR BY HOP ON HOP OFF BUS WITH SEINE CRUISE, EIFFEL TOWER (SKIP THE LINE) & LOUVRE MUSEUM

After breakfast depart for a visit of Paris on Hop On Hop Off bus.  Discover the sights of Paris on a Big Bus hop-on hop-off tour! Aboard an open-top, double-decker bus, admire panoramic views of top Paris attractions including the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Moulin Rouge and more, all while listening to audio commentary. Follow our easy route, and hop on and off at any of the stops around town.

Get down at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, step aboard an hour-long Seine cruise with an audio guide. Marvel at the fantastic architecture of the heart of Paris's most prestigious monuments lining the banks of the Seine: The Louvre Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Orsay Museum, the Conciergerie, etc. Relax on the fully-glassed boat with terrace, and be captivated by this river trip among Parisians who walk and cycle beside the river as you glide by.

Thanks to your priority access, you can skip the line and speed up by elevator to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower, Paris's most unmissable monument. Built by Gustave Eiffel for the Universal Exhibition in 1889, it is 1,063 feet high. Take in the magnificent 360°views of the city and explore this iconic monument at your own pace. 

Enjoy the Louvre museum's huge collection and its greatest works of art, such as the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo, and the Coronation of Napoleon. Overnight at Paris. 

DAY 3 – DISNEYLAND - TWO PARK TOUR (OPTIONAL)

Enjoy your Parisian breakfast and the day is free at your own leisure or you can choose to spend a thrilling day at Disneyland (Optional as it is not included in the package).  We begin our day by crossing Paris as far as the Porte de Bercy to join the A4 motorway leading to Disneyland Paris. Our driver will leave you at the group parking area close to the park entrances. An entertainment resort housing 2 theme parks, hotels, and shopping centers -- Disneyland entertains kids and adults alike. Having gotten in touch with the kids in yourselves, retreat to your hotel and drift away into the world of dreams. At Disneyland Park visit Magic world where you will meet all the Disney characters who live in an endless fairy tale. At Walt Disney Studios Park you will go behind the scenes of the movies, cartoons and tv shows. Re-join the coach at the same spot at the end of the day at 7.00 PM and come back to Paris. 

DAY 04 – PARIS - ZURICH

After breakfast check out and transfer to Paris Airport for your flight to Zurich. Arrive Zurich and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 5: CITY TOUR OF ZURICH + RHINE FALLS AND STEIN AM RHEIN

After Breakfast Start your 02 hours tour of Zurich City.  The air-conditioned Panorama bus takes you on a 100-minute round trip to the sights of Switzerland’s largest city. The route leads across the famous Bahnhofstrasse and the banking center of the lake with a view of the snow-capped mountains, part of the old town with its magnificent guild houses and the churches St. Peter, Grossmünster and Fraumünster. You’ll see the university quarter and the residential area Zürichberg, the National Museum and the Kunsthaus. At the two most scenic viewpoints we will make a short photo stop. First is at At Hafen Enge we have a 10 minutes photo stop. Take in some panoramic views of soaring alpine peaks from your vantage point by the lakeside. Second photo stop will be close to Fraumunster church with its beautiful stained-glass windows for 10 minutes.  Free time to explore Zurich at your own. 

In the afternoon about 01:30 pm we will visit Rhine Falls and Stein am Rhein. Sit back and relax on a comfortable coach while listening to your multilingual guide explaining about Switzerland's interesting history and culture. The journey takes you along the Grand Tour of Switzerland through picturesque landscape with gently rolling vineyards and charming farming villages close to the German border. Reach the first highlight of this afternoon at splendid medieval Castle Laufen – the mighty Rhine Falls! Enjoy about one hour leisure time at Europe's biggest waterfalls and one of Switzerland's major tourist attractions! Delight unique views from the panoramic lift and see how an average of 700'000 liters of water per second plunge across a width of 150 meters into the basin below. The Belvedere panoramic trail brings you to the viewing platform right above the falls where you feel the spindrift of the rumbling waters. Enjoy an hour here to see an exhibition, admire panoramic views from the glass elevator, or walk to the viewpoints above and around the falls to thrill at their roar and power. The site also has a playground, shops and restaurants. Perhaps opt for a boat ride (Subject to availability and not included in price) to experience the crashing cascades close up.

Continue via Schaffhausen with its well-known Munot Fortress and passing through the beautiful countryside to the medieval town of Stein am Rhein. On a guided stroll, you learn about the well-preserved old town with its many distinctive buildings. Most of these half-timbered houses are made of stone with delicate wooden windows and stun visitors with their exceptional frescoes. The most prominent of these houses is the White Eagle, whose fresco counts as the oldest preserved mural painting of the Renaissance in Switzerland. After some time at leisure, drive back in the evening to Zurich.

DAY 6: FULL DAY TOUR OF LUCERNE CITY AND MOUNT TITLIS (OPTIONAL)

After having a delicious breakfast your day is free to explore Zurich at your own or go for shopping or you can opt for optional tour of Lucerne City and Mount Titlis tour (It is an optional tour and not included in the package cost). Reach at the meeting point for your full day tour of Lucerne city and Mount Titlis. The scenic coach journey begins through the city of Zurich and beautiful countryside via Albis Pass and along the shores of the Lake of the Four Cantons to Lucerne. Photo stop en route at either Lake Lucerne or at the Lion Monument. Enjoy a brief orientation drive, where your guide points out the main attractions of this charming town like the Chapel Bridge, the Town Hall, the Jesuit Church and the Culture and Congress Centre. Enjoy some time at leisure to explore the Old Town before the journey continues to Engelberg, where the valley station of Mt. Titlis cable car is located. At the Valley Station the breath taking journey with the different aerial cable cars to the top of Mt. Titlis, located on 3'000 meters above sea level begins. Enjoy the spectacular sight of the glacier's deep crevasses and gigantic ice boulders from the revolving cable car Rotair. At the top of Mt. Titlis a high alpine panorama awaits you. Enjoy magnificent views of the Alps from the restaurants or the sun terrace. Visit the Glacier Cave and pass over Europe's highest suspension bridge - the Cliff Walk! Take a ride with the Ice Flyer which brings you close to the crevasses and the Glacier Park where you can experience snow tubing even in summer. Your action-packed day trip to Mt Titlis concludes with drop-off at central Zurich at approximately 7pm.

DAY 7: DEPARTURE 

After breakfast and check out and time is free at your own till your transfer to Zurich Airport for your onward flight with sweet memories of the trip.
